Default Prelude Fender Kit... ideas?

I wrecked my fender and have to get a new one...

I don't like the Z3 fender kits out there but I did find this SLR kit on ebay. Does anyone have a pic of what this looks like on a 5th gen prelude (they show a celica in the pic)?

Any other cool fenders you guys have came across?

Where can I buy this for for the best price?

Just get an OEM one from a junkyard. You'll hate that fender after a couple months if you put it on your car.

I was wondering why I will hate it? Because it's too rice or just because it isn't high quality?

I like the 'stock' look but I think this piece looks pretty classy... why don't you guys like it?

It really doesn't go with the rest of the car. An SLR is a very classy car with more aggressive styling than a Prelude, so I don't think it will look all that great on one.

If you like them, then go for it.

If I were you Id get....actually I am going to get it. Lucky for me some donkey rear ended me last week and Ill be getting aroung 2500 in damages to blow on my car and SLR/ D-1 fenders are on the list. Just style your car right and then you can pose in front of for pics like this...http://www.prelude92.piczo.com/lol

I wouldn't put them on my car, but I don't think they look too bad. DEF. better than the Z3 fenders!

Default Anyone have any Pics?!?

Can anyone post a picture of what this looks like on a prelude?!?

I haven't seen an actual pic but i've tried to visualize it. Does anyone have this installed?

Thanks for all the good input... i'm still weighing my choices, keep your opinions rolling in!

Ok... I found this ebay auction for an SLR X1 fender and it looks better than the other one. http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...AY:US ...It's has a little sharper edges and looks like the scooped part is a little shallower, I think it's a better look so I am going to get this (unless you guys talk me out of it!).

Here's a pic:

Now since I can't see what this looks like I mocked it up on a prelude. Forgive the crudeness but I just needed to "see" what it might look like on the car. Does any one have any real pics?

So tell me what you guys think. Com'mon, no one else has put this on their prelude... someone's gotta have pics!

I totally agree with this, I have done some stupid things in my past so now i am very careful with what i choose, the fender has an interesting design, but in contrast to the curves of the stock body of the prelude, it seems like it would greatly offset them. Unless you have some extreme bodywork done i think the fenders with look very out of place(and then again extreme body work makes your whole car look out of place to me) just my .02 and helping you consider the possibility of not liking something you do to your car
