first, its a 94 LS and the engine im putting in is a 95 LS.
i would really appreciate it if you honda gurus out there can confirm for me that the wiring is correct on my engine

and for this picture... v where does the blue tube go?

and ive tried to figure out where this goes.. but i cant. please somebody tell me.

and if anybody here read my post on my pcv tube not going in all the way.. heres what it looks like.

and my last question.. can somebody help me and tell me if my cam gears are TDC or something...

thank you guys so much for your help.

Ok, first of all, your cam gears are way off. The dimple on the teeth should be pointing upwards, and there should be a horizontal line that lines up with each other when they are at tdc.
Try and seat the pcv better, or hit the gym or something
In this picture, if the item in question is the black hose with red lettering on the right side, its the fuel line that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel rail.

In the rest of the pics, its hard to tell what you are curious about. The blue hose? There are two blue hoses in the pic. Could you maybe circle the things in MS paint or something?

How many people in life invented things because they did with out your attitude? I agree, at least he had the ball sweat to try doing something instead of just talking about something he read, like the majority of the *** hats online.
My only complaint is that he resize his pictures
Don't get in a hurry, and check everything twice

you can use a small screw driver to hold the cams at tdc wile you bust your knuckles trying to get the timing belt back on but make sure you have the tensioner loose and the crank at tdc too...
good luck

ok.. to set my cams at tdc.. can i do that while my engine is in the car? and if i wanted to set them.. do i have to take the cam gears off and then install them at TDC ? and i think ive read that you have to take off the timing belt in order to make the cam gers TDC..
and the pictures.. i dont kno how to resize them.. can somebody do them for me? thanks

annnnd no.
The dimple on the gears are supposed to face each other (both of them at the point in the middle where the gears are closest together), and my guess is that the DPR should face up (i.e. be in the normal position where you can read it).
Cam gears are keyed and can only go on the camshaft one way.
Is the crankshaft and #1 piston at TDC right now? If so then whoa, I hope nobody has tried to crank the engine like that because if so I would suspect some valves have hit some pistons.
As it sits right now, both cam gears need to be rotated about 90 degrees forward (counterclockwise, normal engine rotation) and then adjust as necessary to get the dimples to line up. If the crankshaft is at #1 TDC right now, then you will need to remove the timing belt from the cam gears, rotate each cam to get them in the right position, and then re-install the timing belt.
*edit* it also looks like the 2 cam gears are about 10-15 deg. out of time with each other, so you're probably going to have to remove the timing belt from the gears anyway to get them lined up.
Damn, who installed that timing belt?

i have no clue who installed.. but probably the guy i bought the engine off of..erbinone. ok. he told me that one of the cam gear was tuned. he told me that the timing was early for the exhaust side or something? so that the exhaust thing would open up faster. i am still learning about this kind of stuff, so excuse if i sound newbish. hehe.
how do i know if #1 piston is at tdc? for the crank pulley, a white dot and the timing belt cover arrow should line up right?
and again.. i may have a problem. ive been turning the crank pulley clockwise. this happened because i was trying to tighten the crank pulley bolt to torque specs on the helms. i dont kno how to tighten the crank pulley without it spinning.
can somebody tell me how to torque the crank pulley bolt to spec and then turn it counterclockwise to set the #1 piston to TDC?

patrickgsr94. if you would help me out again.. i would appreciate. hehe. youve been helping out others alot.
yay! my crank pulley and #1 piston is at tdc! i kno because the crank pulley white spot and the arrow on my timing belt cover lines up and the cam gears are facing towards each other horizontally and the DPR is facing straight up. is there any other timing issues i should be worrying about?
My mistake, I confused the dimple for the little slash on the cam gear...yes the dimples should be right next to each other
Try and keep everything aligned when you tighten the belt...for me thats the hardest part :s

hehe, i got the service manual in pdf format. lol. i just print out the pages i need. but for some reason.. for picture 3 and 4.. it doesnt tell me what they are and where they go to. can somebody tell me?
