I've been having idle problems for awhile now. The car idles high and bounces around a little bit. I cleaned out the IACV and that didn't help. I also replced the IACV after that. The problem is still there. Anyone have any ideas?

 

i have the same problem....haven't been able to figure out yet..i'll have to keep an eye on this one

 

What about cleaning the ports on my throttle body??

 

need more info on your car, model, motor.
check tps to see if it at spec.
clean iacv, fitv.

 

IACV was cleaned, then later replaced with a brand new valve. Motor is a D16y8. How do I check the TPS? What's it suppose to reade?

 

TPS is 0.5 volts at idle, 4.5 volts at WOT. check with engine not running but key on. center wire is signal wire.
