i beat a 93' d16z6 turbo hatch 2 days ago(one of my friends). like i was walking him. he had the greddy system at 9 psi and hondas200 and many other bolt-ons. btw he is a great driver.

Personally I would go turbo b18a or b16a all motor but I am b series biased 
If I were to choose a d series to boost it would be either a d16a6 (stock 88-91 si engine) or a d16z6 (92-95 civic/del sol vtec engine)
