Default constant glowing CEL problem

wassup guys. i just did a swap with my boy in his 00 civic ex. we threw in a 01 usdm type-r motor. problem is, to run its ecu, theres a whole little scheme that has to be done. the civic harness and the integra ecu do not match connections for the fuel pump relay, so a wire has to be swapped to match a different pic...i took care of that. also, the type r ecu has an immobilizer that has to be removed, i done that also. problem upon doing this is that you get a check engine light. the light glows constant, it throws no code, does anyone know how to eliminate this? ive heard of it being done. as of now the light is on, which means no vtec any help at all would be great, so far ive found nothing much about the immobilizer issue. thanx
