newbie needs help with air intake question
Just bought a nice 95 Red GSR, want to know if AEM is worth it and how much HP gain do you real get. Can one feel the difference while driving after installing cold ait intake?

you wont get the real hit of intake until you do supporting mods.. but even at that.. its not turbo bolt on power.. you'll just hear noise and a hissing noise as the car's turned on.. (not sure with CAI) but my injen short ram doesnt do ish.. i should of known this way back then when i bought it.. i could of saved some cash and bought a K&N drop in filter and get the same performance...

Try the Spoon air filter or HKS and take the cover off the air box. A hard intake tube would be cool, but if you switch out the Intake Manifold for a S2 you will have more options and less restricted air path to the manny than with a hard intake tube for the GSR. So don't get an Air intake tube until you switch out the manifold, just get a filter kit.
Makes your car louder, adds some top end power which i believe is good with minimal gains at low rpms. Honda vtec engines make most of their power in high rpms so why not exploit it??
K&N drop in filters are a good buy as well.
