PT-61 vs. t4/blowzilla vs. t4 60-1
i'm debating right now which t4 turbo to go with. my motor setup is built ls/vtec but stock sleeves. the turbo setup is in construction mode, but i already have the t4 manifold. my power goals are whatever i end up making
. i'm trying to decide between the PT-61, the T4 blowzilla, or the t4 60-1 all with the .58 housing, and probably p-trim.
i'm leaning towards the pt-61, but i am wondering if the other choices offer anything better, in spool time etc...
and what is the difference between P and O trim wheels??? thanks

if your still running stock sleeves you should probably just stickwith a smaller turbo you wont really get to use those turbo's to its full effeciency and i wouldnt advise you to boost over 12lbs with stock sleeves just my .02

its not psi that matters, its not how many psi can stock sleeves handle, ITS HORSEPOWER LEVELS. But he is partially right, unless you have a sleeved motor you cant fully take advantage of a turbo that large
Dunno whay you say your power goals are whatever you wind up making, but you could also consider a GT35R (since it has the same compressor wheel as a PT61) with either a 0.58 or 0.68 A/R housing.
There's lots of different way you can go, but you really need to have some specific goals in mind in order to get worthwhile recommendations.

Sorry, i should have stated that my power goals are at about 4-500hp. what i ment by no power goals is that i will make as much as i can with the setup i have to run the times that i want. i should have no trouble making that on stock sleeves w/built internals. the reason i am picking a large frame turbo is for future considerations, when i will sleeve the motor etc...
The PT 61 is a great selection for your application, @20psi on an otherwise good functioning engine and you should have @400+whp.
I’d run it with the 69 trim P wheel in a .59 housing for the street, and a .70 housing for the track.
The 60-1 is made for larger displacement engines (3000cc +) running low boost (@14psi). Although alot of people run it, it is a pretty poor selection (IMO) for a high revving, high boost, low displacement engine like a 400hp Honda.

thanks for the help Aaron!
whats the difference betweent the 76 and the 69 wheel trim for the turbine side?
i think that the pt-61 w/the .58exh and p-trim will be my choice.
