okay i need to do this now
hey All. after rebuilding the head on my 89 crx dx... i feel as if i could use some dohc power... at a local junkyard i can get a b18b with very low miles...i was wondering how hard this swap would be...so far i think i need to do the obd-1 wiring....i think i also heard something about switching hubs for the driveaxels?? ive used the search but the posts dont really go into great detail...i have the time..the tools...and the money...i just need to know how to do it..and also..what year b18b should i get...they came in the tegs' but would it matter from say a 1998 to a 2000? because both are at my disposal and even older tegs like 89-91's i just want to get a feel for this before i get in over my head....
PLEASE NO HATING :D

i would get what ever model ls is available that was obd-1.you need to put a dent in the drivers side frame for alternator clearence.to me that right there is the most important thing, when my first b16 was in there we didnt have enough clearence so every time i turned right it would scrape, too alternators later a new motor and im ok.you need mounts obviously i would go with place racing mounts because they are cheaper than hasport and are just fine.you can use the stock motor mount on the passenger side from a 90's integra.if the ls is going into a hatch you will need a axle from a 90-93 non abs intega it doesnt matter wich model.thats all i can think of because i am way to tired.also i would put a b16 or b18 head on so you have more power.,pat

90-91 b18a has 130hp and is obd0..cable tranny
92-93 b18a has 140hp and is obd1..cable tranny
94-01 b18b has 142hp and some are obd1 and some are obd2..hyrdo tranny
You can either convert your car to match the motor's obd or convert the motor to match your cars obd..Buy a obd0-obd1 conversion harness and use one 4 wire o2 sensor
and an obd1 ecu....
or convert the motor to obd0 buy using an obdo distributor and ****..
If you want to use the 94-01 hydro tranny hasport makes a cable>hydro kit..
You need b-series motor mounts..you can either custom make them or buy them made from a hasport, place racing, azn race,etc..
90-93 integra axles and intermediate shaft..Or you can buy hasport axles
Take a big hammer and hit on the inner fender to make clearence for the alternator
You have to cut 2-3 inches out of your stock shift linkage or you can buy a hasport shift linkage made to work with the b-series swap..
