Dam they want to rip you off. They'll do it right though, but thats too too much. Go to you're local mechanic its a simple swap to do it drops right in. Check ECP in nothern NJ.
Put it this way, I'm doing this swap for a friend in a couple weeks. It'll take less than 4 hours start to finish (drive in to drive out), and I'm charging him $150 dollars.
Heck you could fly me out there and have me do it for less . . .

Oh well. I vote do the swap yourself. No need for a Helms or anything. I would say search around on hybridhonda. You should be able to easily find what wires need to be ran, other than that its a complete drop-in. Just rent a cherry picker from a local tool place or even check with a local repair shop that has one. Shouldnt need any air tools, although it makes the process easier/faster. Only thing you would have problems with I would think is breaking the axle nut loose, in that case get a 1/2" breaker bar and a long pipe. You should also have a good amount of hand tools.
Plus if you do it yourself you might learn a thing or two! Good Luck

i don't think it would be to far for you. it's in east stoudsburg.the place is called cip here's the web site http://www.stopatcip.com .go on the site and get the and check out the project cars mines the hb .when you call ask for jamie or chris .tell them eric sent you .good luck
the swap is a pretty easy one, i vote try it yourself. the motor is pretty much the same as the one u are going to be replacing except for the vtec. just swap out the old and swap in the new. just take your time and it should be no prob.

rpm does great work but like all the well known name shops in new york they charge the cash. however, you will never have any problems with rpm. they'll help you tune the car if you just happen to drop by. they're a great group of guys. they basically get the business anyway based on their rep so they don't need to price drop to compete with start-up import shops. they've been in new york for the past 5-6 years.
but you should definitely try this swap at home if you have a garage to use.
