Default question about kncok sensor

is there a way to bypass the knock sensor on a h22a by just grounding the wire on the ecu side? or do you need to have it?

The knock sensor detects misfiring of the engine. Yes u need it as far as I know.
It retards or advances the timing or something but it is an important engine parameter.

you would need to have it, unless you run obd1 hondata with the p28 it does not need the knock sensor

There is no way to bypass the knock sensor on a "STOCK" p13 ecu Trust Me! Go to a Honda dealer and buy a new knock sensor for about $145 trust me its better that way. You can always chip your ecu and bypass it but I dont recomend that rought.
