I have a z10 front crossmember and a fluidyne half wide radiator. The mounts are in the right place but there is no hood clearance. The top of the rad. is hitting the hood. I tried to gut out some of the hood where it doesnt clear but no love. There are two mounting plugs or nipples, or whatever you want to call them on the bottom that are about an inch in length and about the size and shape of a sharpie marker. Can i drill holes in the crossmember to allow these plugs to drop in the center of one of the cross bars or will this affect the srength. By doing this im hoping to gain that inch to get hood clearance without having to lean the radiator towards the motor. ( looks like crap that way) Any ideas???????????
