it's not boost, its power levels. how much power can your motor hold

Usually, people say 7-8 PSi, and alot of people say 10-12 psi is possible with good engine manegment...but since you have a cool valve cover, your engine will take at least 25 PSI.

SEARCH.

My Z6 is holding 10 daily. All depends on power and the turbo. Since the size of turbo is directly related to power anyways.

Better now monkey nuts?

PS. directed to wantboost.

According to Maximum Boost the max is like 9-12 with good management...

But there are so many factors to consider...

Its funny how you tell the answer but they continue to keep posting PSI numbers.

I have heard 250hp mark is getting close to the rods death.

I blew my old d16z6 turbo up at 9 psi, but thats after a year and a half, including a 138mph run with a mustang gt. So it really depends on how you drive it, it will only last so long.

that turbo is prolly way to big you said its a straight t4 right? 250hp is the highest i would think about going...im shooting for 220 on my stock y8.. but high speed runs are your enemy they kill motors.

When are people finally going to realize that it is not the psi that matters but rather the cfm the the turbo flows. I have seen stock blocks with 12 to 18psi but the turbo flows less cfm.
