Default Wilwood Brakes and 13" Drag Rims????????????????

I have a friend that is selling his Wilwood brakes and I am just wondering if they will fit with 13" rims for my slicks. I don't know much of anything about offsets and other measurments on rims. I am up for any sugestions on rim sizes and different offsets that may help with making the rims fit w/ the brakes. Please help, any input would be great.

Not a chance. Those brake kits are for 17" wheels, and 16" can work if you have a wheel with spokes that can clear, like Volk TE-37's. Stock G3 Intgra brakes won't even work, let alone the wilwood's.

I was looking into buying a set of 13" Lenso Drag rims that were used on an Integra GS-R. They cleared the brakes, maybe a certain offset. I am going to be making upwards of 600whp and am going to need a set of beefy slicks. Like I said i don't know much of anything about drag rim and slick setups. What size rims and slick should i be looking for? I don't think that 15" rims would allow me to use a set of large slicks. But please correct me if I am wrong. PLease send me some suggestions for rims and slick combos that would provide enough traction and be able to clear brakes.

I'm pretty sure it is the big brake kit.

15" has plenty of sizes you can use........if you decide to go with 13, I have a set of brakes that are designed for drag racing only and 13" wheels

I just had a custom set of brakes and rotors made for my drag car. They are really light, and use a Willwood two piston caliper. Great price too! I also use 13'' Lensos with 24.5 slicks.

Give Brian at FastBrakes a call. Great guy, and he will point you in the right direction. Just leave a message and he will get back to you. Tell him Jay from Virginia Beach referred you, and he'll know what your looking for.

here is a pic of my buddies' setup and it is the Wilwood kit and 17" is the smallest rim you can run.

theres more than one kit, as mentioned before. my friend had an 11.1" kit with wilwood calipers that fit under 15s. if you use spacers and arp wheel studs, its possible

The rotors measure out 12.19". I may end up running 15" rims if I can find slicks with ample sidewalls to provide enough traction. Doing some research, but all replies are helping along.

Idiot.

I'll give you three guesses as to what size wheels those are.

it all depends on the kit you get, his kit says 17" is the lowest that you can run with this brake setup because of the calipers/rotors. Different kits allow 15", but I haven't seen a 13" doesn't mean they didn't make one, just I haven't seen one.

I'll try to take pictures tonight of my FastBrake setup. They clear my 13'' Lensos just fine.

He has the 12.2" kit, in which case you can run one 15" wheel, most 16" wheels and any 17" wheel.

Here's all the Wilwood factory kits:

http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKi...x.asp

Looks like they now make an 11" rotor kit for use with non Civic EX/Si spindles and an 11.75" solid rotor drag kit.

Here's the 12.2" kit behind 15" Team Dynamics Pro Races:

Here's the 11.75" kit behind some 15" Heliums:

Fastbrakes make a few kits that use OEM Integra 10.2" rotors that can fit under all OEM 15" wheels and quite a few 14" wheels.

Lensos fit fine over GSR brakes.
