Yes another VAFC thread! I've searched for VAFC installation pics but most of came up with red x's ! I just ordered my black VAFC2 but im still confused where to put it; Not on top of the dash but!

I don't have pics but my i can tell you about my experiences I've had mine right in front of shift **** which, gets old b/c you can't use you little tray and no cup holders, then I put it in front of the tach and speedometer which I liked but had to move it because of thiefs trying to break in now its in the glove and pretty sure its staying

 

mines in my glove box too.

Just put it in your blove box... the more goodies thieves see in your car ... the more likely they will steal it.

Mine came already there from Japan.

 

i lay mine in the area under the cup holder and toss it in the glove box when I want it out of sight.

For the life of me I don't know why you would need teh VAFC anywhere out where it is visible while you are driving. Mine is installed in my glovebox.

No pic handy, but I had mine on the bezel in front of the tach/speedo. Only covered a bit of each, and all necessary warning lights were still visible. Velcro'd so I could move it all to the glovebox if security was a concern.

your right..but think about it ... mad bling parts in the ITR dosnt exactly help your chances of it not getting stolen as well.

I dont know... the ITR is a dog that has its days numbered. it always has been ... its sad that one day someones ITR will get stolen... but IMO i wont make and bling parts visible to make them want to take it even more, thats just more money the thieves can make.

for instance .. a thief sees two ITR's one is stock. The other has all kinds of HIGH END goodies bolt on's seats ... steering wheel, header, vafc, you name it.

honestly now....if he can only take one....which one do you think he will steal.

Drive one and tie a rope to the other to drag it.

Or, they will be back the next day for the other one

 

No pic but I don't have the "bling" VAFC all I have is Hondata hidden away

Doesn't attract any bad attention and it's better by.. .yeah a ton

That's how I had mine in my old ITR .

Its not a VAFC but RSM so the same size/dimensions etc...i moved the stereo to the lower slot and fitted the RSM above it...

DjSALIX's gear **** looks like a GReddy/Trust one.

 

if you have hondata do you still need the VAFC?
