o2 sensor for 95 integra gsr - is there a way to rewire o2 sensor to make it longer.... reason is i bought a ls cat and the o2 sensor is on different side and i need to make the wire longer... plz help!

 

umm i think the o2 sensor is on the header not the cat. itself

 

OBD1 = 1 o2 --> before the cat.
OBD2 = 2 o2 --> one before the cat and one after the cat.

 

my o2 sensor on my 94 gsr is on the cat right by the inlet.

 

yea i got obd1... o2 sensor on the cat... is there a way i can extension to make the wires longer...

 

hmm thats strange when i got my header, cat, exhaust, i didn't see a hole for the o2 on the cat but i did see a hole in the header.

im just going by what i saw, i may be wrong.......?

 

you should be able to just add wire....youd want to solder and heatshrink though to ensure a good clean connection....i know when you purchase the universal o2 sensor at the parts store, it comes w/heatshrink and i think some connectors.

 

would i need heatshrink wires or tape?

 

just get some regular wire thats the same guage as whats on there now and solder it to the existing wires to lengthen it, put some of that black heat shrink tape over each solder connection and then wrap it all up together with electrical tape.
