whats up? I recently purchased a Chilton repair manual and it basicly sucks . I am currently rebuilding my motor and they show everything but the crank caps torque specification. Are Haynes manuals any better?

It's pricey, but the Haynes is probably not much better than Chilton.

 

I actually like the current Haynes, but many people here prefer Helms. I use the HAynes all the time to do head gaskets,timing belts, clutch trans. etc.

 

Helms all the way.

That's the only one I have (well, also the corresponding ones for my other cars...)

The owner's manuals are the same ones you get when you buy the new car. Lots of people around here say they don't have the owner's manuals, so here they are.

The main service manual (above) has all kinds of body stuff, like doors & windows & interior. I bet the Body Repair Manual is about collision repair because my book doesn't have any of that.

Maybe someday I'll get the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, but I'm not sure what's in it. The main service manual has TONS of good electrical stuff. Electrical component R&R, wiring drawings, & troubleshooting flowcharts are all in the main book.
