Default Need Help With Cams

First off my stock ITR cams got stolen and the only reason i would want to go back with stock cams is bc the block just got resleeved and bored, so im worried that some more agressive cams might eat up the new rings. If i go aftermarket im leaning toward RMs M22 and valvetrain for less than $200 more than the stock cams from the dealer. He would provide a base hondata map with the cams, so im wondering if anyone has ran this program while breaking in a motor and how it went. Or if you think i should keep stock ones if im so worried. Thanks.

Hes my setup.

depends on what your goals are.
personally, i love stock ITR cams. i bet they would RIP in your motor. awesome midrange, and a perfect overall powerband.

and there is no such thing as cams eating up your new pistons/rings.. unless the motor is improperly broken in or tuned by a dipshit.

Well since the car has been in the shop for over a fn year now, i think reliability would be my biggest concern.

Also, there are no reputable hondata tuners near my area, so i would have to rely on Rockets base map to get me through break in. I need to find someone who has ran one of his maps with the M22s.
