Default Paint on CTR headlight, profesional help please I searched!

Okay, so I did the DIY ctr light.... but, i'm not really enjoying them. This is why, they do not have the mirror smoked crome look on the real type R, they are just gunmetal. And for some people that might be the look they want, but I like the mirror look.

I want to know where I can go, or who I can ask, so I can get them painted that mirror effect, and would like to add a hint of copper on it too (if possible at a decent price). Does any one know where I can go, and about how much i'd be looking to spend.

2nd question. Do you think they are dipped or airbrushed by the factory?

side comment, if you say I should just buy the real deal this is my reply.
This type of paint can be recreated. Its paint. Paint is paint. I don't have the proper tools\resources\experience to create this mixture. would be needed to create that reflective of a surface with that smooth of a texture. I'm pretty sure this process would cost way less then $380-$450

Side comment is not ment to sound like a smart ***, i've posted this on my local board and that seems to be the most consistent reply i've come across. So I decided I would ask the pro's on Honda-tech.

Thank you for your insight.

Get 350 dollars. Give it to ICB motorsports. Save yourself the trouble.

remove old paint w/o messing up the chrome finish, go to pep boys or kragen, i believe there is "spray tint" i remember seeing it a couple years ago. spray that on and it might work. if not, get smoke acrlic paint "tamiya" and go over that lightly w/ the chrome, should give you that smoke CTR look.

This is my idea, I was actually going to try this on a test headlight...but here goes:

Using transparent model tint spray paint and then you should be able to get the same look. The CTR does have the gunmetallish chrome affect to it, so why shouldn't my idea work.

Or go buy knockoff ctr headlights. I've seen not many and they are pretty hard to find. They look exactly like real CTR headlights with the "look" you are going for. Only thing is, they have the turning signal bar as apposed to the realdeal where they don't. If you want pictures let me know, i'll post in here

I like the tint idea, but is that like a vynil or that an actual spray? if its a vynil don't you think the lights would get hot and melt/distort the vynil? excuse me for my bad spelling.
