Default MSD 6al

I recently bought an MSD 6al..and me and some freinds wired it on.we first couldnt get it cuz i have two coils...my internal coil which was on my h22a engine.i wired that to an external coil i bought..but when i swapped my h23a1 it had already an external coil and with the new engine in it wouldnt start unless i have both coils pluged in i need help on this..plzzzz

i also blew my egnighter inside my distributor cuz i has the MSD 6al wired.that thing was bada_s for the twenty minutes before it blew the ignighter???any info why

Ummm......because you wired it wrong???

Guessing where to wire stuff on a car is the best way to fry the electronics and F things up.....leave the "hard work" to a mechanic.

Contact MSD. They are pretty thorough in their support. Or... leave it to a mechanic.
