I looking to buy a skunk2 intake manifold for my 2001 integra and I was just wondering if it worth the money?

worth the money or not is not really a critical question. I know lot people, friends included have lots of minors problem with skunk2 manifold on obd2 (which is your cars), installation cause CEL, sometime o2 sensor, pressure manifold, iab, leak, purge solenoid etc..etc.

if you know what you doing you will be fine formost part but if something coming up...you will need lots of time to deal with it.

but go back to your question, my answer will be not worth the money, the price is not worth to get sk2 manifold not the hassles that is the cause. Second, since you like sk2, you may want to check out BLOX, same **** for less

Same thing everyone else as had, plus:

I personally had a skunk2 IM on my LS for about 9 months, and i felt it was a complete waste of money. I had i/h/e+tuning(s-afc, FPR), and it felt like my top end was completely gutless, not that the LS high end had alot of guts to begin with, but even then, i barely noticed ANY difference between the stock IM and the sk2 IM right off the bat, or over time. I would say you could get something more usefull for the amount of money.

I have a 94 civic cx with a 2001 ls motor I converted it to obd1 and my mods are Holley intake dc header and thermal exhaust and tons of suspension. It dosent sound like a lot but I can beat almost everything "no joke". My next mod is going to be skunk2 valve train and camshafts.

Skunk 2 doesn't make cams and valvetrain for nonvtecs!

that's because you only had boltons...
Without any internal work, there is no need for an aftermarket IM because your motor isn't breathing enough to take advantage of it.

After some cams and pistons, you'll notice the difference. The difference was night and day when I installed my Skunk2 IM (i have cams and pistons). Throw in a bigger throttle body and the difference was even bigger. It felt like a whole different car with more low-end, mid-range and high-end.

Definatley go with the skunk2! It has way better mods and you can get more full compression throw intake with it! Looking into about 17+ 21+whp gains! Or you could always go with the AEM intake mani works nice as well.

Ok, beating people on Bicycles doesnt count as beating almost everything.

exactly without camshafts or nething to open ur engine up there is no need for an aftermarket intake manifold. once you put cams in then the more air that the skunk2 mani brings in will only help your engine. but if its stock internals then no dont buy the manifold. save up for internals first

that's a generous assumtion. the skunk2 is a good im, the runner diameters are much larger than stock and they have been making and selling them for over a decade. however, an im is only a complement of a whole system of parts in order to increase power gains. doing the whole intake and exhaust system enable your car to breathe better and squirt out every bit of power it already makes...internally. which it sounds like you did already. i'd bet my paycheck that a completed intake and exhaust could probably push 10 to 15 hp (maybe 15 in a wet dream)

the only problem i had on installing the skunk2 is the placement of the throttle cable bracket. used some creativity and was a quick fix. it threw a cel for the map sensor, but that was because i put on the old throttle body gasket. new gasket, no code.
