Type R Rear Lower sway bar mounts???????
I'm putting a Type R Rear lower sway bar on a GSR. THe screws and mounts that connect on the frame doesn't fit. Does anyone know where I can get a kit that makes the sway bar steady? Right now the sway bar rattles against the frame. The GSR has Type R suspension. I saw a hardware kit with the nuts, bolts, and mounting plates that keep the sway bar mounted properly. Any advice? Muchly appreciated.
Can't you just use the ITR rubber bushings with your stock mounting plate. I was under the impression that only the hole in the bushing was bigger to accomodate the bigger sway bar and the mounting plates where identical between the GSR and ITR.
Some reason I tried that but I don't know if I got the GSR and the Type R mounting plates mixed up. Maybe I'm using the Type R plates but the wrong bracket(U-shaped).
Do you have mounting plates and U shaped brackets? When I said mounting plates in my earlier post I meant the U shapped bracket. On the ITR the U shape brackets are slipped around the bushing and are bolted directly on the frame, there is no other plates. Maybe I'm confusing you more then anything else because I'm not certain how the GSR sway bar is mounted.

Does the GSR have the same ITR subframe? If not, you will need a mounting kit -- otherwise, I've heard that the rear ITR sway will rip out of your frame since it's not as thick/sturdy as the ITR one. If I remember correctly, it's called BSQ or something like that (the mounting kit that is).
