I am currently looking into a new header for my R. As of right now i have a vibrant 4-1 2.5, my engine stops pulling around 8700, and i just wanted to get more of a powerband with a new header before i get it tuned. Can anyone vouch for the erick's racing bottom exit header, or can u guys show me sum pics of what u guys are running and just point me in the right direction, btw looking to spend up to 900.00 on a header......

 

hmmm...then start looking used for a Toda, SMSP or if your luck you might be able to find somebody looking for a quick sale with a Hy-Tech...but probably not

best bang for your buck = JDM ITR 4-1

 

Save $200 more and buy a smsp header.

Ok...i was just coRnfused $900-$200= $700

He said he had $900 to spend and isn't the smsp header brand new for $1100? If he saves another $200 he could purchase one.

Can any one post a good website where they sell hytech or smsp header for a good buck ???

 

The Ericks racing header is a PITA to installed + it has certain areas that need improvement . No where near the quality of a Toda header (for about the same price)
IMO you are better off going with either : Toda , Hytech or SMSP (save a bit more ) its well worth it !!

http://www.hytechexhaust.com and for SMSP just IM that name here on H-T. Or perhaps a used in the classifieds.

 

anr compact header w/ merge collector ($715) or go with a dtr race header.

Ericks racing header is the BUTTER!

My buddy has one on his hatch, and the quality and power are both nice! I think you will enjoy it.
