Lighter: Hatch or Del Sol?
How about researching it on the internet? There is nothing wrong with doing a little homework...
Just to answer your question since it seems you DON'T want to research, I'm willing to bet the Honda Civic CX hatch is the lightest out of all.

if you spent hours you would know that. depends on the model of the car. Si hatch is heavier thant si del sol i believe but cx and vx are pretty light. Also depends on year

Go with an ek hatch... no heavy power options like the del sol plus a bigger engine bay. A del sol with an h22a will be a real tight fit... you'll have more room in the hatch... I recomend finding a nice ek(96-00) hatch like mine. Make great projects... plus you can still fit five ppl when you need to and have a spacious trunk. The hatch is better... easier to mount new motors in... has more parts available for it... much more spacious... lighter... just nicer in my opinion. h22atch

Del sol is the same weight as a 92-95 Civic Si. Reason being it has all the same options as the civic si plus more stabilization in the frame since its a Targa. It's not "HEAVY AS HELL". All model years came with power windows and most with power door locks. Along with the rear power window. I believe the S weighs about 2350, the Si is 2400 and the VTEC is 2450 roughly.

The 88 CRX HF weighs in at about 1800.
That's the lightest hf for the 88-91 models and uses type r box style rear lca. The 89-91 hf gained some weights.
The CX and VX weighs in at around 2100.
My 94 cx weighed in at 2200 exactly, that's with a system and misc. stuff in it.
The del sol is a pig. Need to say more?
There plenty of post on here about car weights too.

The CX, VX, and DX model hatches will be lighter than the Del Sol - period.
...and there's so much bullshit in this topic I'm not even bothering with it any more. You guys need to research facts before you go off saying incorrect bullshit like "there's only one difference between a Cx and a DX..."
The link to the topic explaining all the different specs between the various trim levels for the Civic hatches is RIGHT IN THIS VERY TOPIC ALREADY yet people still post bullshit.
