It just spins??? woooh. Dont drill it out, dont risk putting shavings in your oil pan. Just get a new pan and gasket.

Have you made sure you can't get it out anyway ? Try applying downward pressure on it while spinning it. If that don't work just buy a new used pan, you could find them for cheap if you look around.

same thing happend to me- its prolly all stripped from what u say- i got mine out by pulling with a clamp kinda wrench while using another wrench to loosen it... I was able to pull the bolt out enough for it to grab on to the non stripped part and eventually come out (if that makes any sense). then i got one of those fram quick drain oil nuts and used i think some sort of like leak stopper stuff- it came in a tube and was similar to caulk.. anyway i put that around the bolt and smothered it, and stuck it up in there. The stuff i bought was suppost to dry hard or something, and it did ok. granted it did leak a lil, but i fixed it for like 15 bucks instead of like 85-90 or what ever oil pans run these days. My other choice if that didnt work was to epoxy that bitch in there- I found some stuff that would be like cement, which is fine since u never have to take the drain nut out again if u get the fram quick drain system. anyways, thats just what i did- certainly not the "right way" of doing it, but if ur short on cash, its a some what plausible option.
