replacing two rods...what about the bearings?
ill answer your question since otheres want to just talk ****...
YES replace the bearings.. and if the motor has a lot of mines on it replace all the bearings and seals while you have the motor appart... also if youtake the piston out of the cylinder you have to get new rings.. the old ones wont seat right...

common sense says duhh....but the thing is that this is not a motor for me, and my friend that i am replacing the rods for, just wanted to see more opinions other then my own.....trust me if this was my engine i'd replace all the rings, all the bearings, all the seals, all the gaskets, water pump, timing belt etc, since everything is apart now its a lot to just do everything now, but like i said....this isnt for me..

Quit playin w/ your short little weiner dog and get the **** outta here.
Back on topic: replace them, they're fairly cheap and it's is better to replace them now than to replace them on down the road.

yes u MUST replace them, what happens is the bearings will wear with the rod journal and could damage the new rod
thats bad by the way just get allll new bearings and rings and gaskets it will be better off

he would be a major retard not to replace them...too cheap to spend money on a few bearings...till he spins one on his brand new rods and has to rebuild his ******* motor...
