gsr seats
I just put 00 gsr black leather seats into my 99 ex coupe.I think i got a really good deal on them i sold my tenzos for 300 not including brackets and then got the leather gsr seats for 300 with brackets(it makes the car look so much better). everything went well except that the bolts closest to the center console in the rear did not line up, the weird thing is that the other 3 did. i know the seats arent made for my car i just thought it was weird that 3 bolts line up on each seat and the one others didnt. anyone else have this problem. any suggestion on how to get the other two bolts in just in case of an acciedent. let me know. thanks got two brackets for sale make an offer also stock ex seats with brackets, and silver hood.
DC Integra GS-R seats are not a direct-bolt on for EK Civics. This is why all the holes do not line up. The only way to secure it down with another bolt on each seat is too modify the bracket or drill a new hole. Is the seat lined up straight in the vehicle with three bolts on each seat? If it is not straight then you should make custom brackets but if it is close then you can just modify the side that needs it.
94-01 integra seats are interchangeable with 92-95 seats w/o swapping rails.
if you have your 96-00 civic rails, just swap the rails.

even though its just one bolt on each seat, i still rather have all bolts than just three.

Thats the same write up I used for my GSR seat swap!

If it is close then modify the bracket. Cut it as needed, Weld it to fit, and Bolt it on. You may want to find an extra bracket for parts etc.

why not just find the 96-00 Civic brackets and swap the rails (if you dont have them already)? cheaper, easier, less hassle.
don't give him info that he doesnt need.

what???please..the brackets are what sit on the floor. He needs to modify the bracket to get the last bolt to line up. His problem was the bracket not the rails so using the same bracket does nothing. If he replaces the whole assembly (brackets w/sliders/rails together) then this will work.

the steps to install itr front seats using the itr rails is to: 1) bolt up the front 2 bolts, then slide the seat forward. 2) bend the outside rail down (teg rail goes straight out, civic ones are bent) and bolt down. 3) take seat out and at the end of the inside rear rail, cut off the little nub bump with a hacksaw and reinstall seat. 4) bolt down the 3 rails and find a large washer to place in between you inside rear bolt and the rail. this will ensure that your seat is firmly secured down.
i would not suggest driving with only 3 bolts.

Swap the entire side bracket and rail on the belt buckle side of the seat. Swap the rail only on the recliner handle side of the seat. Do this between your stock 96-00 civic seats and the integra seats. This will get u a perfect fit w/o cutting or drilling.
