i think my car cut out on me on the freeway tonight...
i have the standard fmax kit w/ btm set to 0.5. i was leaving my friend's place and stepped on it on the onramp. i got upto ~110 in 4th, switched to 5th and then my battery and oil lights come on and i get no throttle response, like the car was shut off but key is still in the ignition. so i'm sitting there cruising thinking my car just died, but then the lights go off and everything goes back to normal (thank god). Could the btm or even my mf2 have caused that? i dont think i hit the rev limit either. just trying to figure out these various turbo-related symptoms and if they're normal or not.
yeah i thought it would be an electrical problem, but everything has worked fine since that incident. anyways i'm gonna carry some electrical tools/supplies in my car from now on. i'd hate to get stranded on the freeway.
