Default Adjusted valves, but none needed it?

I got in there and adjusted my valves for the first time tonight...BUT none of them needed adjusting...My car has 75K on it and they were all within spec. Is this normal?? I figured they would be all sloppy with the way I drive the car. Thanks.

you must not rev the engine enough ,
each day from now on run out first gear four times and second gear at least once

Did you even losen any of the adjusting screws? Or just stick the feeler gauge in there after setting your crank angle correctly each time?
