Default h22a DTR street header...

i rolled by the shop last night Danny was excited to show me what he's been working hard on. should've seen the look on my face, it was probably priceless. i jaws dropped and said, dude you know that looks like .... and what most are going to say after seeing his header is who copied what. but if you look at the engine compartment, there really just isn't much room to do any other layout unless you do a ram horn style or crazy medusa style. i know that Danny took several days to mock this up to his liking. he asked me to post it, when i showed him the hytech pix thread that's in the HT arhive he thought against posting his header. i told him the ones that gonna talk trash are going to do it anyways... it doesn't matter. there's enough customers out there for everybody.

heck, even when john first showed his h22a header some said hytech copied smsp. but we all know who's been building header for longer time.

More header options for H22a are good from my perspective. Pictures are good, Dynos are better. If he can come out with pics, fitment and dynos he will be popular.

Will it actually fit a prelude engine bay? Clear the cross-member?

Is that made for a h22 in a civic or a prelude?

Looks nothing like my older SMSP header. Secondaries look longer. Looks good though.

reminds me of my RSR top half that nobody wants to buy to experiment with. the primaries are 3-4" longer than stock - just like those..

as asked before, is this header designed to fit into a prelude enginebay ? 4th gen ? 5th gen ? civic h22 hybrid only? ( in this case its posted in the wrong forum)

for people who dont feel like going to the site, its currently for hybrid applications only. It says they are working on a 92-01 design.

And for those who do feel like it , dyno plot is on there for the hybrid application 13+hp and 9+torque! If the 'lude one turns out like anything like that, looks good to me

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 98TypeSH &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">for people who dont feel like going to the site, its currently for hybrid applications only. It says they are working on a 92-01 design.</TD></TR></TABLE>

just like all the others... locked, its for h22's in other cars, NOT preludes
