jdm h22 plug wires
if theyre too short like that theyre probably h23 wires, i tried them before, they wont reach all the way down
just go back to the company and make sure they know its 2.2 dohc vtec they mix it up with the 2.3 a lot because they think the 2.3 is the "best" or "top of the line" because its bigger.....

i got the same car as you,
u have to order 98 vtir wires for your h22a. we got internal coils.. and if you look at your engine date its porob 1998...

I've had this problem a million times at advanced auto parts and autozone, they only have wires for f22s and h23s, a friend of mine that works there said their computer system only recognizes the h22 in 96, so you might want to try that.... or at least have them check and see if it is a different part number

well on my car its on top of the motor on the firwall on the right hand side....

me too. Go with OEM honda wires for any h22a, they fit fine.
