Ok i got a pioner priemier cd player its like 1-2 years old with the picture display stuff from my friend. It worked when i took it out of his car. I wired it all up dosnt work. so the next day i take it to my friends house who is good with strero stuff,he takes it rewires all, stil nothing. we checked all the fuses even the ones under the hood.
so we take it and put it in his accord and it works.

I have a 94 accord lx 2dr 5speed (if that helps any)

also my cigarette lighter socket dosnt work. if that matters at all

If your previous radio was working before then its not the radio. The lighter is part of the accessory cable, i know mine didnt work once when i blew out the fuse along with the radio. Double check the fuse for accessories. Thats the only thing i can think of because you say the lighter doesnt work unless you cut a wire somewhere in the process. Someone else may have a better idea.

Thanks</TD></TR></TABLE> Well if it works in your friends car, and not your car, then I would say you have one or both of the radio fuses blown, the acc. one isin the incar fuse box, and the constant power one is in the engine bay fuse box, [probably a 7.5 amp one, and may not be enough for the HU, do not replace with a bigger one, rewire the HUs constant power to the batt] 94
