hey guys here's the problem maybe u can help.
So I was hookin up my CD player in my can and had all the wiring done and plugged it into my car to see if it wotrked before i put it all back in, and it did. So i put it in the console but in the process a few wires came loose. So I took it out and put them all back together and plugged it back in and it worked, but while i was puting it in the console again the wires sparked and the CD player stopped. I figured a wire came loose so i took it back out and made sure they were all connected but it still didnt work. So i checked the fuse in the car and in the CD player and replaced them both but it still didnt work. Any ideas on what went wrong and how to fix it? thanks guys

 

check the dash fuses (radio fuse)
if its a honda also check the fuse under the hood near the battery. (backup fuse)

 

I checked all the fuses and used a voltometer to see if the wires were bad. Found that the power wire was gad, but it still worked at the base near the fuse box. Whats the easiest (and cheapest) to fix that without taking it into a shop? If anyone has a wiring diagram for a 97' honda accord, that would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys
