Default What Would You Build For $7500 CDN????

Im trying to get some ideas of what should get built to out perform a usdm gsr on spray (cai, skunk2 manifold, ctr int. cam, mugen header, 2.25" free flowing exhaust) in an EK hatch. The budget is $7500 CDN. Let me hear some ideas. This motor will be going into an EF hatch. No h22's, or k20's lol.

Out of your choices i went with the gsr with the kit. U can get gsr alot cheaper than ITRs and put that money toward other important parts. Look into the Bigshot (direct port) kit if u want to run a Skunk2 / JG manifold OR a plate kit for the gsr manifold. My hatch lasted all summer on a basically stock jdm gsr on a 125shot direct port. Nitrous gets my vote from your choices.

i voted b16 turbo for 2 reasons.

1. one of the cheapest b-series swaps.
2. with a good tune 300 whp is easily capable.

Also, you have alot of work that can go into the b16's to up your numbers.

If I had it to do all over again, I would have done a mild turbo setup on a mild LS build and driven it 'till the wheels fell off.

Turbo LS's have an assload of torque, do it.

GSR swap and spray it (get the same mods as your buddy), I am sure it would rape the GSR since the weight is drastically less. I am going to guess you are trying to make a car faster than one of your friends?
