1st time doing a brake job...should i leave off brake fluid cap while doing it?
ok i'm about to do my first brake job on my s2000 and i just had a quick question. should i leave off my brake fluid resevior cap while changing the brakes? i was told to do this because while i'm retracting the piston back into the caliper fluid could come back up to the master cylinder and over-fill it? ok thanks for the help
yes take the cap off, and as you sayd check the fluid so it doesnt overflow and get on your paint

yeah, ide use either a "turkey baster" sucker thingy, or a clean towel to suck out some of the fluid.. since when you do push the caliper pistons back in, you'll rise the master level. after your done, then you can add more fluid.

Put in fresh & bleed all 4 wheels so your brake fluid doesn't get old & corrosive.
