Default STR Cam Seal Honda Prelude JDM...what r they ?

Hi,
where do these go ???I am buying some stuff off him and also doing an engine swap....these look purddyyy... just wanna know what they are where would they go...anyone has a readup ? some pics of installed ??

you only need 1....it goes at the end of the cam....on the side of the dist, but you only need 1 because you have 2 cams and 1 drives the dist, and the other cam takes the seal...not a bad investment...imo

Ehhh....it goes on the end of the intake cam on the distributor side. Hooray for buying crap that you don't know what it does

It will seal better than the OEM rubber piece, though, so you'll have one less oil leak to worry about.

One is tranny, one is oil pan.

cam seals you take out the valve cover and you will see it right away.

Short one is for the tranny, long for oil pan. What about the cam seal? We told you where it goes.

anyone know the thread pitch etc for the tranny bolt? autozone has the magnetic bolts for like... $4 each, but they dont know which one fits my tranny

i dont have a vtec so dunno what a vtec solenoid looks like is it that brown thing ??? where is the seal ?? how do u install this ??

The V-tec selonoid is the brown cylinder thing you see. For your other questions they have already been answered in the replies above.

Honestly if you have to ask how to install a cam seal, its best to let someone else do it.

holy crap. are you gonna rip apart your head to change a part that isnt bad?

Why go out of the way install something as stupid as that unless its deteriorated or you already have the head in pieces. If that were the case, you wouldn't need to ask about it.

actually, mines leaking and i havent opened up the valve cover to know what i have to do. So i just wanted to know how many screws are holding it in place.
