you don't have to do much, our cars are very good out of the box. just the general stuff:

-good tires
-fluids updated and full
-if using oem pads, have a new set. at some tracks, you can kill those pads in one day. you can use Cobalt Gt-Sports as they are very good for track/daily driving. I use these for daily driving
-helmet
-some tracks require roll bars while some do not, check with your local tracks on this

hope that helps

Bell M2 is what I have. I wanted the Pro but it gets pricey. I also have the Sparco Fast Tech gloves. i got both from there. They have sizing charts to help you figure that out

Reasons why you were faster: um the sun was in my eyes, I had a fat instructor in my S, the wind picked up everytime I was out there, I didnt want to lose my oil filter in turn 4, or your just a much better driver. You decide.

BTW seems I suck at launching to.

I think this is the only thread that has actually covered the topic

Is this a thread or a chatroom

of course, this pretty much covers everything anyway

Only thing I would *** would be,

If you have some money

-Upgrade suspension
-Driving school

even with $$$, i say drive stock suspension for awhile and see what you need. most improvements are done by the driver, not by the car
