Very Strange Axel problem
Hey all.
Bought a car off some guy right.
He put in a DOHC ZC, and the car was coverted from auto to manual.
So, 1 of the axels are blow, I take it down to the part store, and when we compared the axels, mine was longer by about 1.5 inches. It was all pushed in also.
Just for the hell of it he grabbed a 92 axel, and we had a match.
My question is what can happen here if I use that axel???

Axel is an Axel. If the length is good, check the number of splines at the ends of the axle, if the number is the same, put that bitch in.
I have a passenger '94 Integra LS axle and a Driver '90 civic Si axle. I know its weird, but it works. Somehow the integra axle fit into the transmission. It fits into my 4th gen Si tranny and it also fit into my 4-spd std transmission. If it works, leave it.
