i have a 95 ex v6 and have the same problem. it has been this way ever since i bought it at 87,000 miles. r u talking about when u first apply medium to hard acceleration it pauses for a fraction of a second and then pulls forward? it does this while i am moving at various speed and from a stop as long as medium to hard pressure is applied to gas pedal. that is how mines act. i always thought it was like this. how bout everybodies experience with this??? thanx

If you are accelerating from a stop I'm hoping the ONLY gear you are in is 1st... but anyways, when was the last time you had a tune-up. spark plugs, wires, clean air filter (old factory filters can get nasty). How many miles are on your car? Check engine light?...

My guess would be EGR valves, they are a common problem...check this out:

A typical problem that the car hesitates or quivers during acceleration above 1800 rpms.
