can i put an engine from an automatic H22a into my Manual 4ws ?? any incompatibilities with tranny or ECU ???

uhh...

the engine block is fine, you can't use the h22a auto tranny or the auto h22a ecu

you can use your Si manual tranny, and obtain a p13 H22a ecu 92-95

 

hehe yeh i am keeping my tranny but just checking if the ECU for manual and auto are same or different

If you take an engine that was orginally auto and mate it to a 5spd transmission, you have to obtain the 5spd ecu.

manual tranny+auto ecu=NO
manual tranny+manual ecu=YES
auto tranny+auto ecu=YES

If you get an auto engine, you need to get yourself a manual transmission, manual ecu and manual transmission throttle body for the intake manifold.

 

so engine is totally unrelated....there is no difference between manua/auto engine..right ?

and i already have a manual tranny which i am keeping....

so just need a manual P13 ECU and thats it !!
