Default Best way to up speed.

I am a real newbie when it comes to cars. What would be the most efficient and cheapest way to up the speed/horsepower of my accord. Its a '98 completely stock.

nitrous is ghey, but it makes "cheap" power....its just not constant....otherwise turbo is the biggest bang for the buck

What are good brands in terms of turbos. What are some of the cheapest while maintaing quality?

no such thing....theres more to turboing a car than just buying a turbo. its just one of dozens of essential peices.....visit http://www.howstuffworks.com and search for "How Turbos in Cars Work"...that will be a good starting point

Buy a kit. Take it to a shop. That is YOUR best bet. GL.
