Alright, I just swapped my gsr motor back in my integra. started it up. drove it around the block for about 10 minutes, drove fine but sluggish.

I"m getting a code 7 and 4. and I'm running obd-0 everything

Code 4 is what I'm stuck on and what I need help with.

I replaced the distributor with another working one and it's doing the same thing, will occasionally start but dies right away and it throws the code.

I reset the ecu a few times, it didn't help, I looked at everything and it all looks right and plugged in good and tight. I cracked open the ecu and that looks fine too.

Well, if you've tried a new distributor, then what's left is to check the wiring from there to the ECU. On my '95 the CKP sensor wires are blue/green(shielded) & blue/yellow. (But I don't know if they used the same colors on earlier years?)

 

ya I'm pretty sure they are different colors, I'm going to try another wire harness and see if that helps. Thanks for the reply.
