i have tried everything to take the tie rods off my rack and pinion cause i have tried everything and they won't come off anyone know how to get them off
Its best to make sure the rack arms are broke loose/moving freely from the tie rod after the locknut has been loosened (if it did not break loose after backing off the locknut). Do you still have the tie rod attached to the spindle?

they are not on the spindle of my acura that im trying to take them off and i can take them off the spindle of my hatch when its time but as of know i have tried to take the tie rods off both cars and niether will come off i tried with the tie rod in plyers i was holding to unlosen the bolt behind the tie rod and the rack and pinion was still connected to the fire wall but no luck and i used wd40, pb blast and deep creep sprays on it but no help
If you have the spindle still attached to the car - put the tie rod back into the spindle and tighten down to support that end so when you turn the rack arm the tie rod will not move. Make sure the lock nut is backed off and your turning the rack arm in the right direction. The solution to the worst case I have expierenced was to heat up the tie rod & threads inside the tie rod and use 2 big heavy duty vice grips on the rack arm to work loose the tie rod /rack arm. That was before I removed the tie rod from the spindle of coarse.
