Default GT30 too big on a b18c5?

A simple question, but is a 700hp rated GT30 roller bearing turbo way too much for a stock internal b18c5 running say 8 psi?

I want to keep the internals stock, and use minimal boost ie 8psi would be max. Do you guys think this size is too big?

Why would you want to put a turbo on your car that is very inefficient on the street at 8 PSI? Your throttle response will very laggy ...

I think you will be fine, I dirve my t3/t67 daily with just a little bit on lag.
