Default rebuilding motor, what should be replaced?

search engine sucking at the moment....
the motor is a d16y8 motor, with an unknown amount of miles.
i'm gonna rebuild it for boost, but want to know what gaskets and parts should be replaced.

i know i need,
timing belt and tensioner,
oil pump with gasket
water pump with gasket

what else?
is there anywhere i can get a complete gasket kit to replace all my gaskets?

Honda sells Upper and lower gasket kits(everything included)...some dealerships sell T-belt kits that include belt, tensioner pulley and spring and bolt.

might look into replacing the valve guides, just have them checked by the machine shop.

since your doing a complete rebuild your going to back to redo every gasket anyway

so might as well order and upper and lower gasket kit

im rebuilding a motor right now, and here is what im replacing.

piston
rods
rings
bearings
head studs
all gaskets
T-belt
water pump
oil pump

might be replace majority of the internal engine bolts also. Look at it this way, you have it apart so replace everything and anything you can so that way its as good as new when put back together and you have no worries
