Default GT30R: Update #2 I can see the light

I tried to put a link to my original post: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1044846, but it doesn't seem to work.

My project is nearing the time to start it up.

Dual Pass Custom Intercooler by S2F

Adel Wiggins Clamps from Burns Stainless

Closeup of Endtanks and RFL Blowoff Valve

Note 3" Downpipe with dump and vband

Another pic of Burn's Collector and Downpipe

Car should be up and running soon. Waiting for stainless a/c lines and a few other mods to be daily driveable

Set-up looks good. Quick question on the intercooler. Will it work properly with the way the end tanks are set-up? Wouldnt the air going in just go sraight into the other pipe?

lol, my accord's beater turbo setup cost less than your clamps!

very nice looking though.

just curious where'd you get your clamps from and how much?? just curious if you found a cheaper place than what I've been able to find??

Very nice looking setup. Just make sure to wrap the turbine and downpipe, seem very close to the distributor.

It works fine. When the car is boosting...the whole system (IC & IC piping) has pressure. Boost is a fancy way of saying pressure

thats an interesting setup... looks good

is there a divider in the end tank between the inlet/oulet? or are you really just relying on pressure rather then airflow?

Good thing I read the whole thread, I was about to ask you why you chose that manifold if you were going to ditch the AC anyways... Thumbs up to me for reading about the stainless steel lines..

That thing should RIP !!

What happens if the engine moves more than a 1/4"? Wont the pipes just rip apart? Got any pics of the turbo support(s)?

Think of it as 3 end tanks. The shared one has a bulkhead in it so that they aren't connected. The hot charge flows in the 1 tank and goes thru half the core, then it makes a U turn and comes back thru the other half of the core and out thru the other half of the endtank. Imagine an intercooler that is half the width and twice the length, and that is what you have here.

Do you have any idea how ******* loud that BOV is mounted outside your car?

DISGUSTINGLY LOUD!

Mine @ 16psi just DD kills people

But ya like stated above, that turbo is gonna heat up and your going to be heating your charge pipes, and maybe your distro and hood lol

My goodness, that is a sweet setup!

Everything looks meticulous and well put together. I don't think those pipes are going to blow off anytime soon
