ok i have a linkage for my crx and i dont want to buy a made one
because you can cut it and weld it?
Now the Big Question is Where and how mUCH should I CUT?

Some Say 3 inches and some say 2inches some 2 1.5
If anybody has done this how much did you cut?

For my b18c1, I believe I cut out like 2 and 1/4 inches. Scribe a line along the linkage lengthwise with a straightedge along a straight portion of the linkage.

Then, when you cut the section out, you can line the two pieces back up so it doesnt get twisted at all when its welded back together.

 

2 1/4 sounds good some other people say 2 3/8 but i dont know lets what other people say? thanks

Nobody can give you an exact number and have it turn out right.
I made mine, just cut both were you see the straightest parts and mount both ends and see how much needs to be removed from the middle.

 

i did mine at 2 3/8th cleaned the welds up with a grinder and painted the pink to match my ride. ok.... i painted them black worked great and saved like 150 bucks. like people have said cut the straightest part. if you use a straight edge and make a long line cut the 2 3/8th out realign the line back up, tack it and run your welds. it keeps the alignment right and everything working the way it should. good luck
