The FMU would work, but personally I wouldn't chance it. Anything can happen with an FMU.

it is harder on your fuel system. oe pump and injectors dont like to open under hard pressure.

a typical rising rate FMU is very hard on the fuel system..

lets say you are running a static fuel pressure of 40psi...

and a typical FMU is going to be a 12:1 ratio...so for every 1 psi of boost, you increase fuel pressure by 12 psi.

so if you are boosting a "conservative" 8 psi or so..

Static Fuel Pressure : 40psi
8psi Boost : 8 x 12 = 96psi
---------------------------------
= 136psi of total fuel pressure under boost! and even under lower boost, the fuel pressure is un acceptable...

run the fmu and fuel pump until you want to get your stand alone. it would be that dangerous under 8lbs.

on a lower compression setup I might say do it. But with a ITR evey lbs of boost gives a lot of HP compared to any other honda engine. You will be pushing a good amount of HP with "only" 6-7psi. Your ignition is what you are chancing now. I really would go with Uberdata/Hondata or AEM EMS. You really will regret using the FMU. The FMU isn't even that good with fuel managment and it does NOTHING for the ignition.

As expensive as ITR engines are please oh please do it right. Uberdata is very very inexpensive at only $100 or so to complete the setup.

I never used the inline pump, but had an intank pump and FMU for almost 2yrs on my ITR running 10Psig boost. I went 12.7 at 116 with the setup but it ran pig rich, and it was a very stupid thing to do. I have since switched to Hondata and properly sized injectors.

since you have pretty mild compression, get hondata, you will have a smaller window for error
