CV joint, its easier to just replace the entire axle. $75 for lifetime warranty axles at autozone. Look for the how-to on how to DIY replacing them. Do a search for posts by BauleyCivic.

as everyone else said, cv joint. yes, its cheaper to replace jsut eh joint, but most places recomend that you replace the whole axle, cheaper in the long run, plus you get a warrenty. jus tmy two cents

get the lifetime warranty axles! if your car is lowered or if you intend to log a lot of miles on the car, you can (and will) tear another CV boot, so you might as well get the lifetime warranty axles.
