Default Multi-Port Problems

Hey, I searched and couldnt find any useful info, so i decided to make a post. Here's my problem, I did the multi port swap on my d15b2 in my rex, i have a Pm6 ecu, hf injectors, hf dizzy, resistor box, and a d16a6 fuel rail. the car is getting fuel to the rail, but the injectos are not pulsing fuel into the chamber. please let me know if there's anything i could have done wrong, i used a 91 crx hf wiring harness, and all the wiring looks right. thanks, i need my car to go to work!

You just plugged that wiring harness in?

If so, you can't just do that. You have to modify the DX/Std harness, or theres some major re-pinning in order to use the MPFI engine harness.

If I misread and you did modify your original harness, then just ignore me

the motor that im putting the hf is a dx motor that i converted to multi point, its not the car that has to be converted, its the motor. so the harness and re-pinning is not necessary.

It doesnt plug into the firewall harness the same way as the DPFI harness.

I dont know how to repin it. Just modify your original DPFI harness and add the extra wires for the distributor and the fuel injectors.

http://www.fourthgenhatch.com/mpfi.html is a really good How-To. It's the one I used when I converted my car to MPFI

have u pulled the spark plugs to see if they r wet from gas? if not then keep cranking the motor over---i just recently did the dpfi swap to mpfi on my 90 crx, yes i understand that you did not have to modify the harness or anything. if you r not getting gas into the cylinder then your car will not start. the fuel rail could have an air bubble in it, and so it is simply not spraying any gas into the cylinder. i called my bro in law over to help me because i was having problems with mine, we checked everything and just kept on cranking and finally it started
