Default what would this be.............engine jerking

i was racing this guy going about a buck 20, ridding smoothly at like 5500 RPM's, then all of a sudden my car like jerks twice, so i let off the gas and push the clutch in quickly, cuz i didnt know what was going on.Then hit the gas again after a second and it was fine. but what do you think would have caused that? does maybe my ECU have a govner? its a B16 ECU, so i didnt think it did, but i could be wrong.
And im case you were wondering what im running under my hood. its a 94 GSR

Um... most likely yes that was the ecu telling the govner to kick in.

It could almost definiatley of been your distributor as well sometimes the ignitor will colapse for a few seconds with high rpms! But i mainly think its the Engine Control Unit.

It was your car telling you not to street race and kill innocent people.
